Cancellation and Withdrawal Policies
The following policies apply in the event that you cancel, withdraw or are dismissed from any OSP program:
The $250 confirmation deposit is non-refundable upon receipt. If you choose to withdraw or are dismissed from the program after the first day of classes the confirmation deposit is withheld and the balance of the tuition is refunded according to the guidelines below.
All cancellations and withdrawals must be submitted in writing to both the OSP office in Beer-Sheva and to the OSP office in NY to the attention of the Associate Director for Student Affairs. Date of cancellation or withdrawal is the date on which the NY Office receives written notice.

Ulpan Tuition:
Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the ulpan | 100% |
Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to the start of the ulpan | 80% |
Withdrawal after the start of the ulpan | 0% |
Short-Term Programs (non-Ulpan):
Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the short-term program | 100% |
Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to the start of the short-term program | 0% |
Semester/Year Program Tuition:
Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the semester | 100% |
Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to the start of the semester |

Withdrawal during the first week of the semester | 50% |
Withdrawal after the first week of the semester | 0% |
Dormitory (because it’s required for semester/year students, the Ulpan marks the beginning of the OSP semester):
Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the ulpan | 100% |

If you are a yearlong participant who has already completed one semester and wishes to cancel your second semester, refunds apply to the second semester only. If you received scholarship money through the OSP for a full academic year of study, you will retain only 50% of the original scholarship award.
