Moselle is spending the full year studying abroad at Ben Gurion University of the Negev through the Overseas Student Program. She is a junior studying at Ohio State University, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She is pursuing dual degrees in Public Affairs and Hebrew, with a minor in International Studies. She had always been interested in spending an extended period of time in Israel, and studying there for a year felt like the perfect way to get a real feel for the everyday life and culture. So far she has been thoroughly enjoying her experience.

Passover in Israel

As I look back on Pesach, it was a very painless experience; quite different than in the States. It just reminds me of how truly special Israel is, that the Jewish experience is mainstream, and not just an outlier.
